ISPA 2024 in Latvia!

Dr. Sayward Harrison attended the 2024 International School Psychology Association (ISPA) conference in Riga, Latvia this summer. ISPA is a fantastic association, composed of school psychology faculty and students committed to advancing the field of school psychology around the globe. Past ISPA conferences have been held in Belgium and Italy—with USC School Psychology folks in attendance at each one! This year, Dr. Harrison presented on development of the I-CaRe Center, a training center to increase capacity for integrated behavioral care for opioid misuse and dependence, as well as on her NIH-funded research to build an mHealth app for youth living with HIV. ISPA conferences always feature lots of fun cultural events. This year’s conference was no exception—one night the conference organizers hosted a Latvian Folk Dancing Lesson in a beautiful historic castle!
