We are looking for students who want to help us envision our mission, are interested in community-engaged research, and embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Undergraduate Students

There are several ways for undergraduates to join the research and training activities that take place in the Healthy Futures Lab. Opportunities range from serving as a volunteer research assistant to participating in community health events. Dr. Harrison often serves as a faculty mentor for Magellan Scholars. Student volunteers can join us as early as their first year, from any major! We typically ask for a 5-hour commitment for new volunteers. See page 10 of our lab manual for research roles. To learn more, please contact Dr. Harrison at harri764@mailbox.sc.edu or complete this interest form to share a bit about yourself and your availability.
